Need a quick appetizer for unexpected company?
Try Quick and Easy 5 minute crab dip, perfect for any get-together….and it is so easy. This is the one!
You can’t go wrong with this Crab Dip or Spread. It can be made up in just a few minutes and ready to eat. And if you have extra time, it can wait in the fridge for the flavors to meld a little more. Either way, you’ve got it. BTW, lots more Easy Recipes here.
My family are “heat” lovers. So they do want a lot of heat flavor on their dips. I can take some heat but not a lot. It seems to me that their bowl of dip could be used as a small campfire but that’s just me. I usually buy the large quart bottle of the Red Hot sauce. He puts RedHot on anything. Mashed potatoes, yep!
This recipe comes from Tonia Hardy who is the Seafood Captain at our local Kroger. She makes it frequently for customers to sample. Believe me, she is swarmed with eager samplers because it is so good.
I have used the imitation crab meat, but if you prefer the real thing and have great access to fresh crab meat, use that instead.
Use it as a Quick Lunch too!
And if you are needing a quick lunch idea, use the same recipe, just spoon it over some salad greens and Voilà! Seafood salad. Yum!
And this Easy 5 Minute Crab Dip is so simple, Tonia makes it right on site as everyone watches.
We served our dip on crackers ( I am partial to Ritz Low Sodium ) but any dip cracker will do. Experiment with it and see what you like.
All you seafood lovers out there, if you love a seafood dip, try this for your next party, get-together, or carry-in and your friends will be asking for the recipe!
Just send them here!

Hi, I am Kim and thank you so much for visiting my magazine! I am a gardener and a hypertufa maker. If you came here to learn about hypertufa, I have a lot of information. But I also write about flower gardening and using succulents which are great drought-tolerant plants.
